Dr. Cox graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a DDS degree in 1984. He went on to establish a private practice in Denver until relocating to Charlotte in 1998.

Dr. Cox is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, Gaston County Dental Society and the Stanley Lions Club.
